Fertility Counselling & IVF Support

Compassionate counselling for those navigating fertility treatment, IVF, and the emotional weight of the journey to parenthood.

The emotional side of fertility treatment

The journey through fertility treatment — whether IVF, IUI, egg donation, or other assisted conception — is one of the most emotionally demanding experiences a person can go through. The hope, the waiting, the disappointment, and the uncertainty can take a profound toll on your mental health, your relationships, and your sense of self.

I provide counselling specifically for people navigating this journey. Whether you are at the start of treatment, in the middle of a cycle, facing a failed round, or trying to decide whether to continue — I offer a space to process the complex emotions that fertility treatment brings.

You don't need to be in active treatment to benefit from this support. Many clients come to me before starting, between cycles, or after treatment has ended — whether or not it resulted in a pregnancy.

I can support you with

  • Anxiety and stress during fertility treatment
  • Grief and loss after failed IVF cycles
  • Relationship strain caused by fertility challenges
  • Decisions about continuing or stopping treatment
  • Navigating donor conception or surrogacy
  • Processing a diagnosis of infertility
  • Emotional recovery after treatment ends
  • Support for partners and co-parents

Questions about fertility counselling

Do I need to be in active treatment to access counselling?
No. I work with clients at all stages — before, during, between cycles, and after treatment has ended. Wherever you are in the journey, support is available.
Can my partner join sessions?
Yes. I can offer sessions for individuals or couples. Please mention this when you get in touch and we can discuss what would work best.
How is fertility counselling different from general therapy?
Fertility counselling is specifically focused on the emotional and psychological aspects of fertility challenges and treatment. I have personal experience of this journey, which means you won't need to explain the basics — I understand the process and the emotional landscape.
