My name is Sarah and I work within North London. My counselling practice is built on extensive life experience, education and training. I am a BACP registered counsellor (reg no 395579) and work with both adults and young people aged (5-18)
I am a qualified therapist specialising in person-centred theory. I am able to draw on my own lived experience, but recognise that the best outcomes are achieved when I listen to you as the expert, and with me walking beside you to help navigate those sometimes difficult and overwhelming feelings.
I provide a fully inclusive practice, and work with individuals who are navigating their feelings surrounding their sexuality and gender. I take a whole-person approach to understand and help people find a way through this and the impact this may be having on their lives.
More and more in recent years people are navigating the journey of IVF and fertility treatment. This can be an emotional time, and I offer a space to listen and explore the feelings coming up during this life changing process
I have completed specialist training with SANDs UK to provide couples individuals and their families who have experienced baby loss and miscarriage, a safe space to navigate the world after such a significant life event.
I have lived experience of the fostering process, as a care leaver myself and mother of a foster and then adopted child.
Sometimes it can feel overwhelming and the process is hard, I will work with what is coming up for you in a safe and supportive space.
I also work with adults who have lived in the care system and just need a space to navigate their feelings and experience surrounding this period of time in their life and how this has impacted them
Please complete the contact form to make an initial enquiry and we will arrange a 15-20 minute video consultation or telephone call if you prefer. I appreciate how hard it can be to
find a therapist, so our consultation process gives you the opportunity to gauge if we are the right fit. I work mostly online over Zoom. Providing flexible sessions to support individuals working patterns or personal commitments. Online sessions also provide easy access for people struggling with mobility or social anxiety. Sessions cost £60 with concessions available for students.
